So for most day to day photo editing tasks I don't see it as a necessary upgrade, but for those times when you use certain features the upgrade will seem worthwhile. On the other hand most of the tools and adjustments I use seem practically unchanged from CS2. it seems like some of the tools have been improved for the better: I really like the new black & white conversion utility, Photomerge is much better, Auto-Allign Layers might be very useful when it comes to group photo shots. The improvements in Camera Raw 5 are pretty major when compared to CR 3.7.

The driver is a few months old, and ATI just released new drivers a week or so ago.
